We are now looking to recruit another receptionist to compliment the 5 we already have for between 25-30 hrs per week.

Main duties of the job

Experience in patient management, care navigator skills, being able to handle extremely high volumes of telephone calls, patient records, front desk reception work involving F2F contact with patients, excellent admin skills and a knowledge of S1 and AccuRx is preferable, however full training can be given. The hours of work will be on a shift basis and the successful candidates will be expected to work their shifts during the full range of surgery hours between 07:30-18:45. These hours will be split fairly each week between all the receptionists and cover early, mid and late shift patterns. Shifts are Monday to Friday each week. Extra hours will also be available to cover annual leave and sickness, if necessary, for which overtime or lieu time is given. Reception shift rotas are created a month in advance so you will know what your shift patterns are, although staff have to be prepared every now and then for minor shift changes if sickness occurs.
