Main duties of the job
We are looking for a motivated and patient-focused GP who
is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care within a friendly

health, and we welcome individuals keen to contribute to or expand these
services.
As a training practice, we host GP trainees, Foundation
Year 2 doctors and medical students. There will be ample opportunity to become
involved in teaching, supervision and mentoring, supported by a positive and
inclusive practice culture that values learning and professional growth for all
clinicians.
About us
Blacketts Medical Practice is a well-established and
successful surgery serving approximately 11,500 patients. Our clinical team
consists of five GP Partners and three salaried GPs, supported by an excellent
nursing team and a stable, experienced and friendly administrative staff. We
consistently achieve high QOF scores and were rated Good in our most recent
CQC inspection. The practice uses SystmOne clinical software.
The practice operates from spacious, purpose-built premises
located centrally in Darlington. The building also accommodates private
physiotherapy and chiropody services. Our facilities allow us to host a range
of allied professionals, including social prescribers, pharmacy technicians and
mental health practitioners. This co-located, multidisciplinary approach
enables close collaboration and enhances the care we provide to our patients.
