Practice Administrator (to cover reception duties) who meet the following
criteria:

relevant IT systems.
Have good knowledge of GDPR and Information

Main duties of the job
The main duties will include list not exhaustive:
Be well organised and efficient to support the
whole practice team.
Actioning incoming mail to include scanning
& read coding.
Summarising medical notes.
Establish and maintain filing &
administrative systems.
Referrals to secondary care and other health
services
Patient registrations & de-registrations
Medical records management
Supporting the practice with new technologies
Cover sickness/annual leave and work reasonable
overtime when required.
Answering the telephone & dealing with queries

We are a well-established Practice based in Sprotbrough
rated outstanding by CQC in June 2022.
Park View Surgery is situated in the North of Doncaster and forms part
of the North Primary Care Network, with a population list size of over 2,500
our patients give us excellent feedback and our list size is continually
increasing.
The team comprises of 1 GP Partner, 2 regular locum GPs,
1 ANP, 3 Practice nurses, 1 Dermatology Specialist Nurse, 1 Health Care
Assistant & 4 Practice Care Coordinators. We like to promote a friendly and supportive environment where staff can continually develop whilst meeting the needs of our population.

You will be responsible for the general administrative duties within the Practice and work with established processes, policies and procedures to provide comprehensive high quality service and deal efficiently and courteously with patients enquiries.
You will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate and friendly nature who can operate in a busy everchanging environment with a range of people and professions, as you will be working with our clinical and administrative teams.
The role is ideal for someone who is highly organised and an effective communicator who can problem solve, work autonomously at times and provide a professional and warm welcome to our patients. IT skills are essential as you will be responsible for providing a full administrative service.

The post-holder will assist in promoting and maintaining their own and others health, safety and security as defined in the practice health & safety policy, the practice health & safety manual, and the practice infection control policy and published procedures. This will include:
- Using personal security systems within the workplace according to practice guidelines
- Identifying the risks involved in work activities and undertaking such activities in a way that manages those risks
- Making effective use of training to update knowledge and skills
- Using appropriate infection control procedures, maintaining work areas in a tidy and safe way and free from hazards
- Actively reporting of health and safety hazards and infection hazards immediately when recognised
- Keeping own work areas and general/patient areas generally clean, assisting in the maintenance of general standards of cleanliness consistent with the scope of the job holders role
- Undertaking periodic infection control training (minimum annually)
- Reporting potential risks identified
- Demonstrate due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
