Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP, you will provide high quality, patient centred medical care to our practice population, working collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative teams. Your responsibilities will include delivering services in line with the PMS contract, managing long term conditions, undertaking clinical and administrative duties, maintaining accurate clinical records, and contributing to practice targets and quality improvement initiatives.
You will also take part in duty doctor and telephone triage sessions as required, support training and development within the practice, and participate in clinical governance, meetings, and ongoing professional development. Collaborative working, adherence to clinical guidelines, and contributing to the smooth running and continuous improvement of the practice are key aspects of the role.
About us
We are a well-organised GP practice led by 2 GP partners and supported by an experienced Practice Manager. Our clinical team consists of 8 Salaried GPs, 2 practice nurses,2 Healthcare Assistants and1 Clinical Pharmacist. working alongside a friendly and efficient administrative team.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a positive team culture with good communication and strong clinical and administrative support, allowing GPs to focus on patient care.
