We have an exciting
opportunity for a Physician Associate to join Fordbridge Medical Centre Surgery
in Ashford Middlesex .
We have been a
training practice for GP's for many years and the successful applicant will
work closely with (and under the supervision of) a GP partner.
The role will offer
you the opportunity to build on your experience of working effectively within a
healthcare team as well as developing positive new working relationships.
The successful
candidate is required to have completed the Physician Associate Postgraduate
Diploma/Masters from an accredited UK university and will be registered with
the Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register (PAMVR) held by the Faculty
of Physician Associates (FPA).
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job
The Physician Assoicate will be
responsible for the provision of a clinical service, working as part of the
practice team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled
patient population. The PA will be required to work autonomously in the
practice, providing a range of services such as assessment, diagnosis,
treatment, telephone triage, clinical decision-making and referring patients
appropriately, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of
clinical policy and procedure when required.
