Job summary

Due to the retirement of one of our Partners, Kirkham Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a new GP Partner to join our friendly, profitable and well-respected Practice. We are keen to find the right person to further enhance our GP team. The ideal candidate will be someone who leads by example with sound clinical judgement, a forward thinking and dynamic approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient- focused services.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a GP Partner to work between 6-8 clinical sessions per week. Working days and surgery times are flexible by negotiation.

We offer 6 weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata. We have no out of hours or weekend working.

About us

Kirkham Health Centre is a well-established, patient centred GP surgery situated in the market town of Kirkham within the Fylde Coast area. We have a patient population of 9,800 patients, covering a mixed urban and rural area.

We own our own building and have an extensive primary care team comprising of 4 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, 3 ANPs, 1 Paramedic, 4 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, 1 Trainee Nursing Associate, Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy technician, Social Prescriber, Mental Health Practitioner and a supportive Administration and Reception team.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming practice who are committed to delivering high quality care to our patients. Our triage system coordinated by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner team allows for excellent access to services. We are active members of our local Primary Care Network, perform well in QOF and are rated "Good" by the CQC.
