Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Paramedic Practitioner or Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are based in Tamworth close to M42 Junction 10 in a semi-rural area with close links to the main Midlands cities.

You will be joining a friendly, supportive, forward thinking, 3 partner, GMS practice, with over 1300 patients, delivering high quality patient focused care.

Rated Good in our CQC inspection (2023).

High QOF achievement

We have adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic and embraced new ways of working.

We are a training practice accommodating GP trainees. We are very committed to and supportive of continuing professional development for all our staff. We mentor and support nurse practitioners, paramedics and pharmacists through their clinical modules and achieve their prescribing qualification.

We are a member of Rural North Warwickshire PCN which comprises of 5 local practices.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for the provision of paramedical services, working as part of the practices multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The paramedic practitioner will be required to work autonomously in the practice providing a range of services such as assessment, diagnosis, requesting investigations, diagnosis, treatment, telephone triage and referring patients appropriately, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure..
