Job summary

We are looking for a patient advisor to join our friendly team, located in Leicester City.

This role will beresponsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.

Main duties of the job

Candidates will require to have knowledge of SystmOne and must have a good numeracy and literacy skills. Multilingual speakers such as Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi or Bengali will be desirable.

About us

We are a small family doctor surgery run by 2 GP Partners, with a team of 6 medical receptionists and administrators.

Working hours can be discussed with a competitive pay rate.

Our surgery core opening hours are:

Mon Wed & Fri: 8am-6:30pm, Thu: 8am-1pm.
