team. You will provide treatment room and chronic care to our patients.

Flansham Park Health Centre is a
training Practice with 4 dedicated GP Partners and 4 Salaried GP's and 3
Retained GPs, supported by a team of highly professional clinical and
non-clinical staff to provide the highest possible standard of care to over
13,200 patients.

Job responsibilities
The
following are the core responsibilities of the Practice Nurse. There may be, on
occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon
factors such as workload and staffing levels:
Key
responsibilities:
- Chronic disease management
- Treatment room services (i.e. wound care, ulcer
care)
- Cervical smears
- Childhood immunisations
- Assisting GPs with coil fitting/removal,
implant fitting/removal and other minor surgery procedures
- Pathology requests and diagnostic procedures
- Participation in multi-disciplinary team and
clinical meetings
- Working as part of a team as well as
independently
- On occasion there may be a requirement to
undertake home visits
- Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area
at all times
Desirable:
- Respiratory care (COPD/Asthma)
- Diabetes
