Job summary

We are a large friendly Doctors Practice looking after approximately 13,500 thousand patients.

We have two Surgery sites, one based at Knebworth and the other in Stevenage. You may be asked to work at either of these sites. You may also be asked to be flexible with your shift patterns if needed.

System One experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Main duties of the job

We a looking for a friendly, helpful candidate that will be responsible for meeting and greeting patients and assisting them with our new appointment system which has just been introduced. They need to be a good listener, be empathetic and as helpful as they can be, especially to those patients that may need a little extra assistance. They will also help with any general queries and also a variety of administration work needing to be processed throughout the day.

About us

We have a large administration team working together to ensure the smooth running of the Practice.

We have a variety of Clinicians working closely together as a team. These include Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Counsellors, Practice Nurses, Social Prescribers and Care Co-Ordinator.

The Practice is very team orientated with a very positive work ethic.

  • Experience working with System one would be preferable but not essential as training will be given.
  • Having previous experience with a public facing role would be preferable and also ability with computer use. We have our own Medical System which training will be given on.
