Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, accomplished, conscientious and experienced Manager in Primary or Community Care with a positive 'can do' approach to join our Practice. Supporting the new partnership in leading and developing the practice, to manage and coordinate all aspects of practice functionality, including but not limited to, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and financial performance ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.

This post is suited to an individual wanting to take the practice to the next level after a CQC inadequate rating with the ability to respond to the ever-changing challenges of providing primary care. The practice has recruited a Quality assurance team to support the new appointee.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate should have experience of healthcare management, ideally within primary care or Community. Have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure of a demanding workload.

Previous NHS, practice management or Community Care Management experience is essential along with good leadership skills, a sound knowledge in all aspects of business management and HR experience with CQC preparation and the ability to ensure delivery on revenue streams

About us

Osmaston Surgery is situated within Derby City Centre, it is a large practice of circa 15,000 patients and is part of Derby City North PCN. Recent CQC rating and new Partnership has prompted a total review of the practices processes and further commitment to its patients.
