quality, holistic general practice and with the energy to help develop the
future direction of the practice.
Our practice is located in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire just
off the M62, and has excellent transport links to all surrounding cities, villages
and areas of beauty.

Main duties of the job
The Salaried GP provides high-quality primary
medical care to our registered patients within the practice. The role involves
diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses, promoting health and
wellbeing, and working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to
deliver patient-centred care.

- Provide comprehensive general medical services to patients registered with the practice.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with NHS and practice guidelines.
- Refer patients to secondary care services when appropriate.
- Manage test results, clinical correspondence, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous electronic patient records.
Patient Care
- Deliver preventative care and health promotion.
- Support the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
- Provide safeguarding support for vulnerable adults and children where necessary.
- Participate in home visits when required.
Teamwork and Collaboration

- Support training and supervision of medical students or GP trainees, where applicable.
