Salaried GP/GP Partner
This job is now closed
Job summary
There is a surgery in Torquay where there are no duty doctors, no extras, and every day starts with a clean slate. Would you like to work here too?
Chilcote Surgery currently has 8 partners and 4 salaried GPs and we are looking for an enthusiastic GP or GPs to join us for anything up to 8 sessions as our reputation for providing excellent and timely patient care has caused our list to swell.
Flexibility is key and we can offer this in terms of your session numbers, structure of sessions and whether you would like to be a partner or salaried GP.
Indemnity cover is provided and there are 6 weeks of annual leave per annum in addition to Bank holidays.
At Chilcote we are happy in our work, using the "Dr First" system of access where we prioritise continuity of care, appropriate access, and satisfying consultations for patient and doctor, leading to excellent patient feedback. We also cap our consultation numbers to protect the working day.
We are proud to be a training practice and provide mentorship for new/returning doctors. Everyone has an open door, and we would support a newly-qualified GP wanting to join the Fellowship scheme.
You can choose whether to become involved in working with other surgeries/PCNs in the Enhanced Care in Care Homes service, or team up with colleagues in the practice undertaking Research, Medical Student/Registrar training, and homeless clinics, if you wish.
Main duties of the job
