Operations Manager - 30-37.5 hours per week

The Practice Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our two GP practice sites. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient resource management across both locations. The Operations Manager will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to implement best practices and achieve organisational goals while maintaining compliance with regulations.
Main duties of the job
The Operations Manager will assist with the smooth functioning of the practice on
a day-to-day basis. Working with the Practice Manager, you will lead and manage
the practice team. You will be flexible in your approach and be able to
integrate new ways of working as NHS services and patient needs evolve.
You
will support with workforce planning and will manage the practice appointment
diary, ensuring that rotas are applied to the clinical system in an appropriate
time frame and that skill mix and room availability is considered.
The
Operations Manager will have managerial responsibility to support and give
direction to the practice workforce and undertake the various HR functions to
support recruitment, retention and training of staff. Responsible for ensuring all practice
activities and facilities comply with our contractual obligations, CQC
regulations, health and safety and employment law legislation.

We have 9 GPs, 7 nurses and a supporting team consisting of pharmacists, social prescribers and physiotherapists. We have excellent reception and administrative teams who offer a fantastic service and are critical to smooth running of our practice.
