Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated
Paramedic Practitioner to join our clinical team in a varied and rewarding
primary care role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a paramedic with strong
assessment and clinical decision-making skills who is looking to develop within
general practice. The successful candidate will support the delivery of same
day care, urgent triage, home visiting, and management of acute presentations,
working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
The role offers autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to
further develop your skills within a supportive GP training practice.

Clinical Triage - Assess patient requests safely
via telephone and/or face to face contact.
Same Day Clinics - Assess and manage patients
presenting with acute and undifferentiated conditions.
Home Visits - Undertake home visit requests,
carry out urgent assessments, and liaise with the Acute Home Visiting Team
where appropriate.
Clinical Decision Making - Provide safe
assessment, management, safety netting, and onward referral within your scope
of practice.
Long Term Condition Support - Support ongoing
management and follow up for patients where clinically appropriate.
Prescribing (if qualified) - Prescribe in line
with practice policies, national guidance, and individual scope of competence.
