Job summary

Were looking for a friendly, organised, and patient-focused Receptionist to join our reception team. As the first point of contact for our patients, youll play a vital role in keeping the practice running smoothly and ensuring every patient interaction is positive and professional.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, can stay calm under pressure, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service in a healthcare setting.

Hours: 25 hours per week

  • Monday: 13:30 18:30
  • Wednesday: 08:00 18:30
  • Friday: 08:00 18:30

About you

  • Well-organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
  • Comfortable using computers and appointment booking systems
  • Experienced in a receptionist or healthcare role (preferred, but not essential)

Main duties of the job

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Welcoming patients warmly, both in person and over the phone
  • Booking appointments and managing clinical diaries
  • Handling patient enquiries with empathy and professionalism
  • Updating patient records and using clinical systems
  • Supporting the wider practice team with general administrative tasks
