Job summary
GPs in our organisation benefit from peer support, multidisciplinary teams meetings, and access to specialists for advice and guidance.
The practice also has regular quarterly clinical governance workshops as well as a quarterly practice workshop meeting.
We have a dedicated admin team to help reduce the paperwork burden, allowing GPs to focus on patient care.
Our team-based learning approach encourages shared knowledge and development.
You will not be working in isolation we have a friendly, engaged team of nurses, allied health, and admin staff for support.
Main duties of the job
The practice offers hybrid clinic sessions which comprises of a mixture of e-consults, face to face appointments and telephone appointments.
Protected time is also offered to ensure workflow is completed.
About us
Leyton Healthcare operates from a modern purpose built premises on the 4th Floor which overlooks Leyton Orient Football pitch.
We have a multi-disciplinary practice team that work along side our ARRS staff. The team consists of Doctors, nurses, clinical pharmacists, social prescribers, paramedic, care co-ordinators, admin and management team.
Our Clinical teams meet twice weekly at lunchtimes on Monday's and Wednesdays
Our current practice population is 14,400 and we use SystmOne software.

Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, X-rays).

- Full registration with General Medical Council.
- Completion of GP training programme.
- Current medical indemnity insurance.

- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to manage a high patient load efficiently.
- Special interest in [e.g., dermatology, mental health, women's health] (optional).
