Medical ReceptionistKings Lane Medical Practice

- Contracted Hours: 30.75 hours per week
- Monday Thursday & Friday 07.45 -6.30
- Flexibility is required and essential
- Salary: £12.21 per hour
- Breaks: 30-minute lunch break plus a paid morning break
- Holiday: 5.5 weeks annual leave

Main duties of the job
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations
- Answer incoming calls and handle patient queries with professionalism
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information when required
- Support patients with payment processes and administrative needs
- Process prescription requests accurately and efficiently
- Open, sort, and distribute post
- Scan and upload medical letters to patient records
- Carry out general office duties such as filing, data entry, and stock management
- Work as part of a supportive team, assisting colleagues where needed
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient care
- Protect patient confidentiality at all times
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations at all times.
