Job summary
The practice is seeking a dedicated salaried GP to work 4 sessions a week over two days. Many of our patients have been with the practice a number of years. The main duties of the role will deliver a high level of patient care. To support all other clinicians in delivering a full range of Primary Care Services to registered patients of the Practice. To work in partnership with all members of the Health Care team to ensure provision is of the highest standard possible and to help the Practice achieve maximum targets.
Main duties of the job
In accordance with the clinical schedule and as agreed, the post holder will undertake a variety of duties including: patient consultations, (both pre-booked and emergencies when necessary), face to face appointments, telephone consultations, dealing with queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, checking and filing patient test results and undertaking further actions as required, updating patient medical records and ensuring items are addressed I respects of QOF, undertaking examinations and medical as required (NHS and private), completing all relevant paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.
Making professional, autonomous decisions in regard to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referral from other Health Care professionals.
Recording clear and contemporaneous clinic system-based consultations notes to agreed standard.

The Salaried GP is responsible for delivering high-quality primary care services to patients within the practice. This includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of medical conditions, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Provide routine and urgent medical care through face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medication in line with national and local guidelines
- Refer patients to secondary care or other services where appropriate
- Undertake home visits where required
- Manage test results, clinical correspondence, and follow-up care
Patient Care:

- GMC registration

- GP training & Experience working in a UK General Practice environment
