Main duties of the job
As a Practice Nurse, you will deliver a broad range of clinical care within a busy primary care setting, supporting patients across all age groups. Your role will involve running nurse-led clinics, contributing to the management of long-term conditions, and promoting preventative health through education and screening.
You will work closely with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, provide appropriate treatment, and ensure continuity of care. A key part of the role is building strong relationships with patients, supporting them to manage their health and wellbeing effectively.
You will also play an active role in maintaining high standards of clinical governance, ensuring safe practice, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to protocols. Alongside clinical duties, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the service, demonstrating flexibility and a team-focused approach.
