Salaried GP: 4 Sessions

Start date: January/February 2026 (newly qualified GPs welcome to apply)

Sessional rate: £10250-10500 dependent on experience

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our friendly team. The role is for 4 sessions per week, covering one full and two half days.

About us

Overview of our organisation:

  • We are a welcoming, supportive and well-established semi-rural dispensing practice located roughly 10 miles from Sheffield City Centre. Our team includes 2 Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, and 1 Phlebotomist.
  • We have access to Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, Social Prescriber, Mental Health Worker, Door 43 health worker who are all employed by our PCN
  • We have a very low visit rate and ANP & Paramedics also do visits.
  • 6 weeks annual leave & 1 week study pro rata
  • Join a very friendly and supportive team.

  • CQC rated GOOD (May 2017)
  • 5200 patients
  • SystmOne and accurx fully computerised
  • Consistently high QOF achievement
  • Very manageable workload with pleasant patient cohort

Location

For any prospective candidates considering moving to the area, there are many beautiful towns and villages which are both accessible to the M1 and the Surgery premises. We are an expanding practice, as another 400 houses being built around a mile away over the next couple of years.

One mile in the other direction, is the popular Fox Valley Shopping Centre and housing development, which is attracting people from all over South Yorkshire.

We are very close to junction 35a M1.

S10/S11 only 25-minute drive from the practice (as travelling against flow of traffic and also short cuts). Rotherham (Moorgate) 25 minutes drive, Barnsley (Pogmoor) 20 minutes drive.

The post is subject to the receipt of satisfactory references, DBS check and confirmation of right to work in the UK.
