Job summary
We are looking for an additional salaried GP or a GP Retainer to join our friendly and professional clinical team for 4 to 6 sessions per week. We are situated in the beautiful South Derbyshire countryside. (Around a twenty minute drive to Derby City Centre and approximately thirty minutes to Birmingham City Centre).

Main duties of the job
This will be an interesting and varied position over 4 to 6 sessions per week. The GP rota, on-call and administration requirement will be discussed at interview.
We work closely with services such as the Home Visiting Service, Swadlincote Primary Care Network and other local Community Services.

Our list size is around 11,300 but is increasing steadily. We are a training and teaching Practice and we play an active role in our PCN. Our Practice consists of three GP Partners, four GPs, two Advanced Clinical Practitioners, a Practice Nurse, two Nursing Associates and an HCA. We have a Pharmacy Team consisting of a Senior Clinical Pharmacist, a Clinical Pharmacist and a Pharmacy Technician. We have a Health & Wellbeing Coach and Patient Care Coordinator and a full complement of dedicated and professional Care Navigators and Administrative staff. We have an active PPG Group.
Our Practice has a strong Management Team consisting of a Business Manager, Practice Manager, Patient Services Team Leader and two Management Assistants alongside our three GP Partners.
We have a high social media presence with good NHS reviews. We are also a designated Safe Place, Veteran Friendly accredited, working towards Pride in Practice accreditation and have a pro-active approach in supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
We are a multi-skilled team who work well together, we encourage growth and development in all areas. We enjoy Park Runs, fund raising events, afternoon teas and Annual Get Togethers. We place a very high priority on the well-being and development of our staff.
