Job summary
Newhall Surgery is looking for a motivated, empathetic, organised individual with good IT skills to join our busy Clinical Administration Team. The post holder will
have a positive attitude, good listening and communication skills and be a team
player. Previous experience of working within a medical environment would be advantageous. This is a varied role with much of the work undertaken being of a
highly confidential and sensitive nature.
Part time hours are offered (approximately 20 to 25 per week) with the working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a member of the Clinical
Administration team with varied roles and responsibilities such as, but not
limited to, managing referrals, processing clinical correspondence, undertaking
medical reports/requests and subject access requests, patient record management
including registrations and deductions, notes digitalisation, online services, generic practice
emails, pathology allocation, QoF/IIF/Enhanced Services recall management etc. Also
to provide support to the wider clinical and non-clinical team as needed.

Newhall Surgery has a list size of approximately 11,000 patients. We
have an active Patient Participation Group and endeavour to liaise well within
the local community. We are active on Facebook and have good reviews within NHS
Choices.
Our clinical staff consists of three GP Partners, four GPs, two
Registrars, GP Trainees, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Nursing Team, Pharmacy Team, a Care Coordinator and a Health & Wellbeing Coach.
We also have committed and professional management, administrative, secretarial
and care navigation teams.
