join our friendly, dedicated team.
Currently: 2
Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses including Nurse Prescriber
and HCA along with ARRS staff. The
Practice is looking to
expand to meet rising demand and develop and welcome GPs with special
interests/can support professional development and have a good work-life
balance. Happy to wait for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Competitive Salary + Indemnity + Pension.
6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study (pro-rata)
Support GPs with Special interests.
Will consider newly qualified/ experienced GPs seeking

Job responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
- Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications in accordance with guidelines and best practice
- Undertake home visits when required
- Provide preventative care and health promotion advice
- Manage long-term conditions (e.g. diabetes, asthma, hypertension)
- Participate in safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records using clinical systems EMIS and Docman
- Process test results, referrals, and correspondence in a timely manner
- Complete medical reports and documentation (e.g. fit notes, insurance forms)
Teamwork & Collaboration:
- Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, and ARRS roles.
- Participate in practice meetings and clinical discussions
- Support and supervise junior staff or trainees where appropriate
Quality & Compliance:
- Adhere to General Medical Council (GMC) standards and revalidation requirements
- Contribute to clinical audits, QOF targets, and service improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards
- Follow practice policies, NICE guidelines, and NHS protocols
