Job summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in a general practice setting.

  • 4 Partners and 6 salaried doctors
  • Advanced nurse practitioner and experienced nursing team
  • Practice pharmacist's

Main duties of the job

Duties

  • Phlebotomy, ECG's, Simple dressings/ suture removal, assisting with long term condition reviews, B12 injections, completing NHS Health Checks and Urinanalysis.
  • Providing high standards of care to our patient population.
  • Assist the practice nurse's with non-clinical tasks such as stock rotation.
  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
  • Visitng our patients in the community.

  • Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a GP practice and using Emis Web is preferred but not essential.
  • High level of verbal and written communication is essential for providing high quality care to our patient popuation.
  • Strong IT skills are necessary for maintaining records.

  • Qualified in Phlebotomy
  • GCSE A to C in English and Maths
