General Practitioner (GP)Location: Beacon Medical Centre
The Role
- Managing acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations
- Prescribing and reviewing medications
- Participating in clinical audits and MDT meetings
- Supporting QOF and local enhanced services
- Providing proactive, patient-centred care
In addition to the standard responsibilities of a GP, we are particularly interested in candidates with a desirable special interest in womens health and gynaecological issues. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Menstrual, menopausal and contraceptive care
- Routine gynaecological presentations
- Coil/implant fitting and removal (desirable but not essential)
- Supporting continuity of care for female patients with ongoing reproductive or sexual health concerns
Desirable Criteria
- Special interest and experience in womens health and gynaecology
- DFSRH, DRCOG or equivalent
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Passion for providing compassionate, inclusive care
