Job summary

Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Vacancy Aylmer Lodge Surgery

20 to 37.5 hours per week

Rate of pay would be competitive according to experience

NHS pension

5.6 weeks Annual Leave

15 MINUTE APPOINTMENTS

Study support and mentoring in areas of nurse development need

Supportive of recently qualified Prescribers or highly experienced ANPs

Main duties of the job

To work as an autonomous Practitioner, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within your scope of practice to our patient population. The main role of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) is to be an active member of the same day urgent duty team. Assessing patients by telephone or face to face. Diagnosing, treating and/ or referring. Potentially, there could be some Home Visiting required with this role, dependent on experience

Other roles include supporting clinical colleagues, clinical mentoring and supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedures.
