Experienced General Practitioner (4 Sessions)

Salary: £13,000 per session per annum

Contract: Salaried GP

Sessions: 4 sessions per week

Required days: Monday (essential) + flexibility for remaining sessions

On-call: Weekly on-call commitment

Experience: Minimum 5 years post-CCT

We are seeking an experienced GP (minimum 5 years post-CCT) to join our team for 4 sessions per week. This role is ideal for a confident, clinically strong GP who is comfortable managing complexity and contributing to a large, dynamic practice.

• Monday availability is essential

• Participation in the weekly on-call rota is required

• Clinical sessions include a mix of booked appointments and triage

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will provide high-quality general medical services to the practice population and work collaboratively as part of the wider clinical team.

Key duties include:

• Undertaking clinical sessions comprising a mix of booked appointments and triage

• Participation in theweekly on-call rota

• Providing safe, effective and evidence-based patient care

• Managing acute and chronic conditions, including patients with complex needs

• Reviewing clinical correspondence, results and actioning tasks in a timely manner

• Contributing to practice clinical meetings and learning activities

• Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care

• Supporting training and supervision as appropriate to experience

• Adhering to practice policies, NHS contractual requirements and GMC guidance
