Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and well-motivated individuals to work within our busy Practice team covering our three branch sites. Previous GP reception and or knowledge of EMIS Web would be a distinct advantage. However full in house training will be provided.

The role involves working on the front reception desk greeting patients, dealing with queries, telephone calls, making appointments, registering new patients, recalling patients for test results, and other administrative duties such as producing letters.

Riverside Surgery was formed from the merger of three high achieving GP practices and we provide primary care to over 12,000 patients from our three branch sites in Erith.

Job responsibilities

The role involves working on the front reception desk greeting patients, dealing with queries, telephone calls, making appointments, registering new patients, recalling patients for test results, and other administrative duties such as producing letters.

Hours: Varied Shifts between 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday - Friday. Various 5.5 hour block shifts are available for:

16.5 hours per week

22 Hours per week and 27.5hours per week

worked on a fixed rota basis. Therefore flexibility is essential as hours may change to cover annual leave/sickness etc.
