We are a friendly, well established, forward
thinking Practice in the small town of Midsomer Norton and a member of the 3
Valleys Health Primary Care Network. We are a training practice supporting lots
a different types of trainees. We are now seeking a positive and conscientious
Salaried GP to work 4-6 sessions a week ideally. £10,450 per session.
This is a 6,500 patient practice with three
partners, an excellent Nursing team including HCAs and Phlebotomist, Physician
Associate team and GPA with a strong Reception and Administration team.
Both the clinical and supporting staff pull
together in this practice to deliver a great standard of care while enjoying a
supportive and friendly atmosphere.

The new GP should be forward thinking and a
team player. We promote online consultations via our system Patches and have a
variety of other tools at our disposal. These sit alongside our traditional
offering of face-to-face and telephone appointments, all to meet the needs of
our patients. We would like the Salaried GP to feel part of the team by attending
MDT meetings, having a patient List, doing a share of the home visiting if
needed, and supporting with some admin. Our Salaried GP would also be involved
in supervising our Physician Associate Team.
We welcome applicants who require a VISA
sponsorship as we have a VISA sponsorship licence.

- A degree in medicine that is recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC)
- MRCGP
- counselling skills including active listening and a non-judgemental approach
- to be thorough and pay attention to detail
- excellent verbal communication skills
- the ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
- patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- to be able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
