Job summary

Hi we have an exciting opportunity for our Hybrid - Pharmacy & Dispensing Doctor in Scotter near Gainsborough in LincolnshireWe are looking for a pharmacist to join our independent pharmacy team on a 16 hour weekly part-time contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for any qualified Pharmacist looking to gain experience in a Dispensing/Community pharmacy setting within a GP surgery.

Main duties of the job

  • Preparing and checking medication prescribed to the patient
  • Identifying potential interactions between drugs and providing information to the patient
  • Ordering stock and ensuring that it is kept in appropriate conditions
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all medication processed through the pharmacy
  • Offering advice on dosages, side effects and other aspects of drug interaction
  • Working with the pharmaceutical staff to maintain a clean, customer-friendly workplace
  • Making sure our expertise and medicines are easily accessed, providing patient services, dispensing, and giving healthcare advice
  • Leading and motivating your pharmacy colleagues
  • Building working relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries
  • Clinical governance and adhering to GPhC guidelines
