Job summary

The post holder is a key member of the Senior Management Team, providing leadership and senior operational oversight for clinical services delivered by our nursing teams. They will hold responsibility for ensuring that care across the PCN is safe, effective, and personcentred, while offering strong managerial and professional leadership to their teams.

Working collaboratively with fellow senior leaders, the post holder will play an active role in shaping and driving the strategic development of Westongrove. This includes contributing to long term planning, supporting the delivery of Westongroves priorities, and ensuring that service objectives are achieved in line with our vision for high quality, sustainable primary care.

As a practising clinician, the post holder will lead by example, modelling high standards of professional performance and conduct. They will foster a culture of continuous improvement, support the development of their teams, and ensure full adherence to the practice policies, procedures, and governance requirements

Main duties of the job

In this key leadership role, you will provide professional support to our nursing team, oversee safe and effective clinical services, and work closely with GP Partners and wider teams to ensure our care remains personcentred, innovative, and responsive to local needs.

You will contribute to strategic planning across the PCN, including workforce development, service improvement, and managing resources within budget to ensure sustainable, highquality care.
