Job summary
Coley Park Group Practice is a thriving GP Practice based near Reading Town Center. The Practice has two sites with a registered patient population of 9,000.
Currently we are seeking an experienced operational manager who will oversee the day to day running of the Practice. The Practice comprises of a friendly team of clinical staff and admin staff. You will be supported by the Practice Manager and 3 GP Partners.
The location of the Practice is commutable both by bus and is within walking distance from Reading Town Centre.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role is to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational aspects of the practice. To manage and coordinate all aspects of organisation and its functionality. To provide a high-quality service and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare providers and administrative staff are crucial. Motivating and managing staff and optimising efficiency of the administrative staff is an important aspect of this job. Additionally, you'll oversee the operational efficiency and improve patient experience with our services. Overall, the role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of the practice and facilitating the delivery of high-quality patient care in a safe and effective working environment.
Part of the role would be CQC management and you would be responsible for service improvement and the delivery of clinical and administrative areas in the practice. Prior experience in GP practice finance management would be an advantage for this post.

Coley Park St Group Practice has been established for many years and recently refurbished with 7 new state of the art GP consultation rooms, enjoys a healthy reputation with patients and the local Practices. We have a branch surgery located in Burghfield common, called Burghfield Health center, about 5 miles from Reading and we have about 3000 patients registered with this branch.
