Business manager/ Senior Practice Manager

Job summary

Capelfield Surgery are seeking to recruit a Senior Practice Manager/ Business Lead. The roleis supported bya Practice Manager, admin team, reception team and the partners.

We are a long-established 3-partner high QOF achieving GP practice serving 8000 patients in the semi-rural village of Claygate, Esher, Surrey, KT10.

We sit within East Elmbridge PCN and have in house FCP, pharmacist and GPAs currently.

We offer minor surgery, family planning, ear microsuction, anticoagulation monitoring, ECGs, 24 hr bp, phlebotomy, chronic disease care and extended access appointments in house.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Manager to lead and run the Practice, joining our friendly and dedicated team.

The surgery embraces innovation and development- wanting to expand, grow and morph with the ever changing demands of primary care development

Main duties of the job

Salary: £40K upwards, dependent on experience

Hours: Full time (37.5hrs/week)

Start date: asap

In the role you will be responsible for leading the practice including planning (including capital projects), finance management, human resources, patient service delivery, information technology, clinical governance, quality and performance management and health and safety.

Our ideal candidate will:

Already be working in a management role where you have responsibility for leading and motivating a diverse team including senior professional colleagues. You will have a keen interest in financial management, strategic business planning and HR.

You will have a strong delivery focus and understand how our primary business focus must balance high quality patient care, fairness and equity of access. You will be accustomed to complexity and will not be overwhelmed by taking overall responsibility for the effective functioning of the practice.

Be an effective leader with excellent communication and organisational skills,

Have experience and knowledge of NHS practice management, finance, planning and HR.

Have the ability to build effective relationships with staff, partners, and patients.

Have the vision, willingness and drive to adapt to NHS targets and changes within a profitable and efficient working environment.

Ability to commute/relocate before starting post
