Due to partner maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen for a Mat Leave Locum from 19th November 2024 17th November 2025 to join our team.We are a long established and well-regarded teaching and training practice, with GP registrars and we support our GPs who have an interest in pursuing higher education with the GP training school. We are now looking for a long-term locum who is friendly and with a desire to engage, motivate and innovate.

The cover will be for 3 sessions per week and must be over Tuesday & Wednesday.We are a busy but friendly and supportive practice in Prestwich and one of six practices within Prestwich PCN. We aim to maintain the highest clinical standards in a rapidly changing NHS

Salary: -10,000.00 per session

The ideal candidate should have high clinical standards and be proactive in taking part in further development of our practice. They should be local, organised, flexible, team player with good communication skills.

• 7880 patients
• 4 partners
• 2 salaried GP
• 1 Practice Nurse
• 1 HCA
• In house Physio and Pharmacist
• PCN Acute Visiting Service
• A conscientious and loyal team of administrative and support staff.
• Maximum achievement in QOF services.
• EMIS Clinical System
• Actively involved in a wide range of Enhanced Services including: - Minor surgery, Joint injections, Sexual Health: Implants and IUCD
• Great links to the motorway and commutable from the South of Manchester and the City Centre.
• Linked with Manchester Medical School
• Award winning Active Practice
• Linked with Park Run, local and social prescribing projects
