We are looking for a Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our small, hardworking and friendly team to work 20 hours per week, over 5 days.

This role would be to work alongside our two Practice Nurses and HCA and is available to the right candidate immediately.

The ideal candidate will have experience of phlebotomy and wound care as a minimum requirement.

Phlebotomy

Urinalysis

Blood pressure and weight care management

ECG Recording

Vaccinations (under PSD)

Suture and clip removal

Specimen collection

Diabetic Health Checks (inc. Foot Checks)

New Patient Health Checks & NHS Health Checks

Assisting GP during minor operations/Coils etc

Chaperoning as required

Clinical Waste Management & ensuring Infection Control standards are always met

Cold chain storage, monitoring and recording

Stock management and restocking rooms

Our team includes GPs, Registrars, Nurses and HCAs, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Mental Health Practitioners and First Contact Physiotherapist. You will also be supported by our excellent reception and admin team.
