Job summary

The Village Medical Centre, 27 Grove Road, Wallasey CH45 3HE are looking for a maternity locum from 17th February 2025 for 12 months. We are a 6500 patient practice with 5 partners and 2 salaried GPs, full nursing team, training practice and medical students.

  • 6 sessions/week fixed term contract
  • BMA Model contract 25 patients/day, share of paperwork and on-calls
  • 6 weeks annual leave pro rata
  • 1 week study leave pro rata
  • Daily clinical meeting to provide support/answer queries
  • Salary dependent on experience

Main duties of the job

Surgeries are 25 patients/day. Combination of face to face and telephone appointments. Share of on-calls - never more than one/week and not every week. Share of paperwork including Docman and Prescriptions. Responsible for own lab results and referrals.

Home visits when on call only.

About us

Extremely supportive practice. We have a daily clinical meeting each lunchtime in which the team bring patients they wish to discuss.

Very friendly multidisciplinary team.
