Job summary
To
assess, diagnose, treat, refer or signpost patients/service users to attend
surgery with undifferentiated or undiagnosed condition relating to minor
illness or minor injury.
The
post holder will use advanced clinical skills to provide education to service
users, promoting self-care and empower them to make informed choices about
their treatment.
They
will work closely with the On-Call doctor to help with emergencies and home visits
on the day.
Main duties of the job
The
main duties of this role is to carry out telephone and face to face
consultations. Home Visits are also added to the clinical lists once all
consultations have been completed.
The
post holder will have appointments that are linked to minor illness or minor
injury.

Paramedics, Physicians Associates, Management Team, Receptionist, Prescribers,
Data and Admin team and Secretary teams.

physician associates, care coordinators etc.

The
role will provide a specialist Paramedic resource for Health Care Professionals
and service users of The Oaks Medical Centre.
The
role will involve working as an autonomous, accountable Paramedic, in the
provision of a holistic approach for individuals including assessment,
diagnosis and treatment to deliver quality patient services.
The
post holder will use advanced clinical skills to provide education to patients

include assisting with medical reports, safeguarding, and clinic support.
