An opportunity has arisen to expand our well established administrative team here at Whitburn Surgery.
The person will be a team player, who can use their initiative to prioritise their workload and support the team, providing administrative support in line with the needs of the surgery
Main duties of the job
To manage incoming documents and accurately code data on the clinical system into the
patients' medical record from EMIS workflow system.
Identify relevant clinical information documented in patient
correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed action as
required.
Identify and refer any clinical actions to the appropriate team including the GPs
Reorganising and summarising patient records and letters in
preparation for summarising.
Scanning patient related documentation and attaching scanned
documents to patients' healthcare records
