The Headland Medical Centre is a small friendly, forward thinking and innovative practice striving to deliver high quality patient-centered care to patients in the Headland area of Hartlepool and we are committed to investing and improving the medical care we provide for our patients.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/administrator to join our friendly practice team.

The candidate should ideally have experience working within a GP surgery and be familiar with the SystmOne clinical system.

We welcome applications from candidates who:

  • Have experience of working within a medical receptionist or administrative role
  • Are proficient in the use of computerized systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Have excellent telephone, communication and customer service skills
  • Have ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Are conscientious and hard working
  • Have an enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team
  • Have good interpersonal skills
