Job summary
The practice is recruiting an experience practice nurse to take the lead of the nursing team at the practice. You will have experience in managing all long term disease areas, including, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Hypertension etc. You will also be able to carry out cervical screening and childhood immunisations.
You must be a team player and be able to manage the nursing team as well as your own time and workload. You must have a respectful approach to patients and staff and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will have good communication and listening skills and will be able to adapt to changes within the practice quickly.

- Childhood immunisations
- Diabetic screening and reviews
- Asthma screening and reviews
- COPD screening and reviews
- Hypertension screening and reviews
- Case finding
- Cervical smears
- Home visits
- COVID/Flu vaccinations
- Depo injections
- Overseeing the nursing team
