Christiana Hartley Medical Practice requires a Physician Associate, to join our well established, friendly, and busy GP surgery team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our thriving clinical team, and supportive Primary Care Team. We are looking for a motivated, hardworking individual who is committed to providing high quality patient care. You will be responsible for the provision of physician associate services, working as part of a team consisting of GP's, Advanced Nurse Practitioner's, Pharmacists with a supportive administration team.

The candidate should hold a PG diploma or MSc in Physician Associate Studies.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to work within their professional boundaries and work autonomously in the practice and within the community when required (home visits).The post holder will provide care for the presenting patient from focused history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will aim to meet the needs of the patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

The post holder will be required to support the clinical team with managing laboratory results and paperwork.
