Job summary
A exciting oppourtunity has arisen to join our small dispening team. As part of the dispensing team the post holder is expected to provide quick, efficient and accurate dispensing of medication to our patients.
You will be expected to work closely with the practice team to meet the needs of the patients following practice standard operating procedures and confidentiality.
Main duties of the job
Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing
Deliver efficient dispensing according to the practice standard operating procedures
Hand out prescriptions and dispensed items and collect payment as necessary
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work well under pressure
Deal with queries relating to prescriptions as necessary
Apply communication skills and strong patient facing focus to offer appropriate information to patients
About us
We are a small but busy dispensing branch surgery with over 3000 patients in a rural village the edge of Worcestershire. Our team currently consists of 2 dispensers, 2 care navigators and each day there is a different GP and nurse that come over from the main surgery to hold clinical sessions.
