Brilliant opportunity to join a friendly, experienced team in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire
Looking for a 4-6 session salaried GP (Partnership opportunities available for the right candidate).Open to ST3s approaching CCT. We are a training practice and would be happy to mentor and support if this was first role out of training.
Competitive sessional rate - based on experience and additional interests/ roles
6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave (pro rata)
Home visits rare except palliative patients as we have a visiting service
15 minute appointments and a very manageable working day. Mix of pre booked F2F and calls (25 appointments a day)
Total Triage service run primarily by brilliant ACP team.
Large team - 5 Partners, 9 Salaried, 4 ACPs, 4 CPs and a wonderful nursing team. Approx 16,000 patients.
A well-organised management and admin team providing full Docman and secretarial support. Docman team filter out a huge number of documents each day. (limited paperwork for GPs)
Modern purpose built building in a busy Cotswold town. Training practice with good retention of trainees over the years. Loads of parking, shower facilities on site.
We all meet for lunch every day! A good time to discuss cases and have a chat with friends and colleagues. Regular meetings for CPD.
A real focus on staff well-being and morale. Perfect for newly qualified GPs or those who have left a more stressful work environment.
Main duties of the job
The Role
- 4-6 sessions per week, salaried GP position
- Opportunities for teaching, training, leadership, or special interest development
- Manage a personal patient list to support continuity of care
- Supported by ACP triage and admin teams, allowing focus on complex and chronic care
- Partnership opportunities available for the right candidate
