We are wanting to improve access for our patients, therefore we have an exciting opportunity for a GP to come and work with us at Mandalay for 12 months, starting in October 2024.
Main duties of the job
Mandalay medical Practice has an exciting opportunity for a GP Locum to come and join our Team for 3 sessions per week for 12 months. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic GP with good work ethic and a helping hand, who will fit easily into our friendly, supportive team.
The sessions will be across Thursday and Friday
About us
We are a close knit friendly Practice. We meet on a daily basis for a Clinicians meeting to discuss cases and changes in guidance. This is an opportunity to discuss complex patients and management strategies. We are offering a BMA contract.
We have a school holidays rota, this ensures a fair split of school holidays to allow everyone time to spend with their families.
The Practice hosts Pharmacist, MSK specialist, Health Improvement Practitioners and Mental Health Practitioners.

- A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003 Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983 Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of Training CCT) Currently on a PCT performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register DBS clearance
Desirable
- Evidence of further postgraduate educational activities in relevant fields MRCGP DCH DRCOG RCGP Substance Misuse Certificate Level 1 or 2 F2 supervisor training/teaching diplo Desirable ma DFSRFH & Competence in Coil insertion Evidence of CPD activities.
