An
opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time/part time Receptionist to join
our busy Practice team based at Greenfields Medical Practice.
We are looking
for an enthusiastic and conscientious team player preferably who has previous experience
working in a General Practice.
Main duties of the job
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
greet patients
register patients according to established protocols
assist patients to complete all necessary forms anddocumentation
ensure patient information is accurate
inform patients of medical office procedures and policy
maintain and manage patient records
move patients through appointments as scheduled
answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
transfer calls as required
schedule patient appointments
report statistics as required
ensure external medical reports are correctly cascadeddown as required by medical professionals
respond and comply to requests for information, while ensuring patientconfidentiality is upheld
deal with incoming and outgoing post
complete other clerical duties as assigned
About us
Greenfields Medical Practice is a very well established, busy, friendly, supportive and caring practice based in purpose built premises..
The staff at the practice comprises of 2 GP Partners , 3 GP locums, 2 ANPs who are supported by a Practice Manager, Business Manager ,2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs and a team of medical receptionists, administrators and secretaries.
We also have the support from the wider PCN team including a Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Social Prescriber, FCP Physiotherapist & Mental Health Practitioners.

Observe health and safety guidelines at all times
General housekeeping (e.g. keeping reception and waiting
