Job summary

Stour Surgery is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP, to join our team for 6 sessions per week. We offer a friendly environment working alongside 3 Partners, 2 salaried GP and a full complement of nursing and admin/reception staff.

Main duties of the job

At Stour Surgery we pride ourselves in offering easily accessible high quality care through our award winning Stour Access System. Our nursing team offers specialised clinics in Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Womens Health & Leg Ulcers.

We are extremely proud of our SCOT (Stour Community Outreach Team) & SOS (Stour Outreach Sister) staff who provide excellent care and support to our vulnerable patients and those at risk of admission, support our GPs with home visits & look after our housebound patients for their annual reviews, identifying those who are living with moderate & severe frailty.

We work alongside our Christchurch colleagues (Highcliffe MC, Farmhouse Surgery & Christchurch MP) to form Christchurch Primary Care Network and as part of the Integrated Community Primary Care Services project where our team are working with housebound patients to reduce the risk of admission and helping with acute visit requests.

Some of the additional services we provide include onsite Phlebotomy and access to both a MSK & Mental Health Practitioner.
