We are a friendly, well-established dispensing practice
located on the beautiful North Cornwall coast, serving a population of
approximately 16,500 patients across three dispensing surgeries between Padstow
and St Columb. Set within a stunning rural community, our practice is committed
to delivering high-quality care, improving patient outcomes, and providing
continuity of care to our local population.
We are seeking a motivated Salaried GP to join our team for 68
sessions per week. The successful candidate will work within a supportive
clinical environment with opportunities for professional development and a
strong emphasis on worklife balance. There is the future potential opportunity
for GP partnership for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a wide range of health needs within a primary care setting
- Telephone triage and both acute and routine appointments
- Face-to-face and telephone consultations
- Home visits where appropriate
- Reviewing and signing repeat prescriptions/EPS
- Managing patient queries, pathology results, and clinical correspondence in a timely manner
