Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Salaried
GP to join our kind, supportive and cohesive PCN in Stockport.
As this post will be employed through the Network Contract
DES, you will need to be within 2 years of GP qualification and not have been
substantively employed as a GP previously.Whilst fixed term
initially, there is potential for extension past the end of March 2025.
This role will operate on 15 minute appointments but also
benefit from no administrative tasks in the role and the flexibility of shorter
sessions (reflected in rate of pay)
This role (if full time) will work across the five practices
in our network, which offers a great opportunity in this stage of your career
to gain a valuable, unique opportunity of experiencing life at different
practices.You will provide high-quality GP-related activities and
play a huge part in the quality of care provided and our patient satisfaction.

practice bases will be allocated accordingly.
Main duties of the job
You will be working as an autonomous practitioner in each
practice, where you will be responsible for the provision of medical services
to the patients of Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme PCN.
You will have a dedicated support GP or GPs within each
practice who will support you and ease you into your new role with them.
In your role as a salaried GP you will undisputedly adhere
to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the management
of the health of our population whilst contributing to wider multi disciplinary
care.

patients, is keen to develop, settle and is passionate about improving patient
outcomes and reducing the gap in health inequalities.

healthcare professionals internally in the PCN and externally as part of our
multidisciplinary team. Quality improvement and home visits as part of the GP
team.

- To meet the criteria for consideration, you must be a practising GP & hold the following:
- Qualified GP - within 2 years of registration
- MRCGP
- Full GMC registration
- Performers List registration
- Clear Enhanced DBS check
- Less than 2 years from date of receiving certificate of completion training (CCT)
- No previous substantive posts as a GP prior to here
- Registered with License to practise with General Medical Council
Desirable
- Experience of working with EMIS
- Knowledge of local patient demographics
