Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic General Practitioner to
join our committed and hardworking team of doctors; our GPs are supported by
dedicated and proactive Nursing, administrative and management teams. We meet for a morning huddle to start each
day on a positive note and discuss any issues that need to be shared; the
practice is consistently high QOF performing and our CQC rating is Good with
regular positive reviews; we support each other and have each others back so
we are never working alone.
As a practice we are keen to be flexible with our team to
maintain a healthy work/life balance, so are happy to discuss sessions and days
with you, considering school hours and other family commitments. We offer 15-minute face to face appointments
as standard, protected time each day for completion of pathology, workflow,
administration, and we outsource our private medical work.

Roborough Surgery is a friendly single site practice in the North
of Plymouth providing primary health care for around 11,200 patients. We are also part of Drake Medical Alliance
Primary Care Network, working closely with our member practices and ARRS staff
to provide a comprehensive package of care and services to our patients to meet
the demands of the modern general practice.

Access to a large team of ARRS staff including
Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Acute Care Practitioners, Frailty
Nurse, Care Home Team, Care Coordinators, Social
Prescribers and First Contact Physiotherapists.

£10.5k per session
. Professional Indemnity paid by the practice
under MDDUS group scheme or subscription equivalent.
. Mileage reimbursed
. 30 working days, annual leave (pro rata),
statutory and public holiday (pro rata. Five days per annum study leave (pro
rata) and two NHS days per annum (pro rata)
Protected time for activities related to
professional development.

. Alongside this there are extensive training
development opportunities with paid mandatory training.
New to Partnership Payment Scheme, giving

working options. The practice is committed to working with you to ensure you
find the right work life balance with an open door policy for closer working
relationships and effective teamworking but still enables us to meet the needs
of our patient population.
We aim to deliver excellent care that enhances
patients' health and wellbeing, in addition to our own, being a progressive
partnership with a range of ages. The practice is looking to recruit to 6 - 8
sessions per week, ideally Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday but is
negotiable to suit the individual.
